FOOTWEAR | THE ONE OF ONE PROJECT

We froth on art and good products, so when we caught wind of this we were stoked. The ‘1 of 1 Project’ is a charity art show which is using Vans canvas shoes as..well…canvases...

A group of local artists in Winnipeg, Canada were donated 30 pairs of blank Vans shoes which were each uniquely painted to be displayed and auctioned in an art show that will see donations made to their local Children’s Hospital.

The basic premise of the project is perhaps not original but the shoes themselves certainly are. They’re all wearable too, except for the pair that was violently nailed to a snapped skatey deck - modern art is not always practical.

Def worth a look, couple of goodies amongst the 30.
