FOOTWEAR | GLOBE x SURFRIDER SANDALS

Globe have teamed up with the crew from Surfrider (learn more about surfrider here) to create a sandal whereby 50% of the profits get donated to the Surfrider Foundation. That's a huge amount considering a lot of other brands and companies pledge around the 1-5% mark.

The 'Surfrider' is Globe's eco-friendly sandal using 'Lite Leather' (means products have been made using low emissions and less pollution during the manufacturing process), water based PU cements, recycled PET thread, recycled EVA and recycled car tires. A strong eco story for these treads from the crew at Globe.

Do your beach proud and have a think about a pair next time you're in the market for some new eco friendly foot beds.

  The Tiki Prodigy wettie is recommended for cold water surfers who care more about function than form. This suit is made by the Brits, so it should be warm...and it is. The suit however looks like it's been thrown together with dodgy patch jobs and glue leaks, but it does perform...
