he Nixon 'Fluro' Player ranges final colourway is in and will be dropped end of this month, November 30 to be precise. No points for guessing the final time piece is Yellow. Considering we've had pink, green, and Orange, together making up the 4 colours of every child's favorite hi-lighter series.

The Rip Curl 'Trestles Oceansearch' is definitely one of the best tide watches I've reviewed to date based on look, design and ease of use. While you might not use the ATS and Spot X functions daily, they are a great tool when travelling. You can now have very accurate tide data for ANY beach around the globe.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Week, and Nixon have just dropped their latest pink fluro rubber player. Nixon will be giving a nice portion of each watch sale to Boarding For Breast Cancer (B4BC). A non-profit, youth-focused education, awareness, and fundraising foundation.

Body Glove have just announced they will be adding 6 new digital watch models to their watch category. The new digital offerings were showcased during the recent Surf Expo and had some great interest. Not a bad looking watch for a small price of $50US!

Nixon make some epic time pieces, and some of them you'll actually never get a chance to wear. These special 'exclusive' pieces are given as a prize at a few Nixon events and are valued at around $10k a pop...but if you can pull of the best heat scores at JBAY or CHOPES then you'll be set. Get training.

The Vestal Digichord is a sleek looking watch designed for a square world. With a Casio calculator look and feel the Vestal Digichord is the new age minimalistic time piece. We weren't able to scoop much info on this puppy (waterproof? Cost? Release date?) but we got a few snaps which helps...Doesn't it?
-
The Rip Curl Cube Clock not only tells you the time, but also displays the temp. Not the most functional offering for a surfer, but looks pretty cool, changes colour in the dark and is under $30. Something a little different for those that live to surf.
-
The Nixon Channel T is one sweet watch, showing you the tide, moon phase, tidal range, date and the internal dial rotates for use in your next surfing comp. Not only does it have all the functions you want, but looks dope. Check out the whacky colour version that is Willie Wonka's watch of choice.
-
The Rip Curl Midnight O-search is a super popular tide watch amongst surfers of all ages. With a midnight black enamel casing, tide settings for 200 preset beaches, alarm, stopwatch, dual time, light, countdown timer, date and time it's one sweet roller.

The Nixon Rubber Player push was meant to be over with the release of the yellow colorway. However like everything too good to cut out in life, Nixon have decided to drop them in two great new colorways – purple and black. Purple looks dope!
